Mike's Fans.....

Mike still has lots of enthusiastic fans, so here's a few stories to amuse you.

Seen at the IOM TT races in 2006, the photos are of TT racer, Paul Owen's Father, who used to race many years ago and a big Mike fan. "My brother Steve and myself started chatting to him last year while we were having a coffee. He was wearing a pair of Hailwood-Martini overalls signed by Mike on the brest pocket. He recalled the story of how Mike gave them to him in 1979 and then duly invited us back to his son's camper van to see all his photos of Mike. He then showed us his Honda replica built from scrap bits and an old 50cc Honda engine. He was more than happy to put on his crash helmet and pose for photos. He was affectionately known to his son and pit crew as the "Crazy Frog", because of his goggles".

This French fan has had a picture of Mike tattooed onto his left leg.
